Abstract

PT. Dempo Maju Cemerlang is an underground gold mining company located in Salido, Kec. Iv Jurai, kab. South Coast, Prov. West Sumatra. PT. Dempo Maju Cemerlang has not assessed the implementation of the SMKP Mining Safety Management System in accordance with KEPMEN ESDM 1827/MEM/30 2018. Therefore, it is necessary to assess the implementation of the SMKP Mining Safety Management System, Work Accident Statistics, Frequency Rate, Severity Rate and Pareto Diagram. This study aims to find out how many percent of companies in implementing the Mining Safety Management System SMKP, for the assessment using a questionnaire based on KEPMEN ESDM 1827/MEM/30 2018. The results of the questionnaire on the implementation of the Mining Safety Management System SMKP for Policy Elements 94.7%, Planning Elements 100% , Elements of Organization and Personnel 93.3%, Elements of Implementation 100%, Elements of Evaluation and Follow-up 100%, Elements of Documentation 100%, Elements of Management Review 100% and for Work Accident Statistics Frequency Rate 10.54, Severity Rate 0.

Abstract

PT. Cipta Bersama Sukses has two Granit Extend pit mining locations: seam 5 and seam 6. On August 8, 2022, an avalanche occurred which covered the seam 5 mining area so that coal-getting activities or coal production could not be continued. because this condition was considered unsafe and inefficient. Then the mining plan changed to the seam 6 area, So it is necessary to design the optimization of the seam 6 area, design the coal getting for September and October 2022, as well as production scheduling so that mining activities are well planned. Based on the optimization design in August 2022, the seam 6 area obtained 43.248,117 tons of coal and 304.293 bcm of overburden, and the pit design in September 2022 obtainedan  overburden of 306.198 bcm overburden and 93.017,183 tons of coal, while in October 2022, overburden was obtained of 323.053 bcm and 102.160,480 tons of coal. To achieve the production target, production planning is required which aims to calculate unit requirements for mining activities. Based on the analysis, the number of fleets needed for overburden removal activities is 6 fleets consisting of 3 fleets with 4 DT units each, 1 fleet with 2 ADT units and 2 fleets with 3 DT units each. The amount of overburden production is 310,380.66 bcm Whereas for coal-getting activities, 1 fleet consisting of 3 DT units is needed with a total production of 47.178,60 tons.

Abstract

Observation data for limestone production in the PNBP block of PT. Semen Padang did not reach the target in August 2022 due the low effective working time of the excavator, which was 278.7 hours/month for the Hitachi EX 2500 and 296 hours/month for the Caterpillar 6030 Excavators out of 558 hours/month available working time. Analysis of the productivity of working hours of tools needs to be done to overcome these problems,, one of which is the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method to measure tool performance and fishbone diagrams to identify obstacles during production. The results showed that the actual productivity was 601,527 tons/month. Fishbone diagram analysis shows that there are inhibiting factors that cause high loss time, including method, equipment, environment, and human factors. After improving the standby delay time value of the Hitachi EX 2500 (EH 06) Excavator and Caterpillar 6030 (EC 03) excavator, the total loss time was reduced to 28.8 hours/month and 29.2 hours/month, respectively. increased tool uptime. Thus, the OEE value increased to 40% and 43%. Thus, overall limestone production increased by 1,317,693 tons/month, which means the target has been reached. The increase in the OEE value is still low when compared to world class standard OEE values, at 85% and still needed improvement.

Abstract

PT. Anugerah Covindo Indonesia is a coal mining service company as a contractor in the open pit area, one of its jobsites is GPU (Gorbi Putra Utama) Pit South Beringin II Village, Rawas Hilir District, North Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra Province. Based on the problems in the field, it is known that there are not ideal road geometries such as straight road widths and bends which are still lacking in grade which exceeds 12%. With the condition of the road geometry that is not ideal, it will affect the total resistance of the vehicle so that it will affect the speed of the conveyance that crosses it which in turn will cause the productivity of the transportation equipment and the value of the fuel ratio of the transportation equipment to increase. This study aims to analyze how the ideal road geometry is on the road, analyze the actual total resistance value and after repairs and analyze the speed value and fuel ratio value of the conveyance both in actual conditions and after repairs have been made. The type of research used is applied research which aims to find solutions to certain problems with data in the form of qualitative and quantitative data. From the results of the calculations, the minimum width on straight roads is 12.5 m, on bends is 17.545 m, and the road grade must be reduced with a maximum grade value of 12%. The total resistance value has decreased so that the productivity of the transportation equipment has increased and the fuel ratio value of the SANY SKT 90S transportation equipment has decreased. The actual productivity of the transportation equipment was 117,260, BCM/month increased to 160,256.7 BCM/month, while the fuel ratio for the actual condition of the transportation equipment was 0.48 ltr/bcm, which decreased to 0.35 ltr/bcm.

Abstract

PT. Cipta Bersama Sukses merupakan salah satu industri yang bergerak di bidang pertambangan batubara di Sumatera Selatan yang merupakan salah satu kontraktor yang bekerja sama dengan PT. BSPC. Salah satu permasalahannya adalah ketidaksesuaian antara excavator dan dump truck yang mengakibatkan keterlambatan pada saat operasi produksi. Untuk itu diperlukan kajian kesesuaian alat gali dan angkut agar target produksi dapat tercapai serta dilakukan perhitungan produktivitas alat gali muat dan alat angkut dalam kegiatan coal getting. Setelah dilakukan analisa data, diketahui produktivitas yang dicapai excavator CAT 330GC selama 1 jam kerja dari pengukuran aktual di lapangan adalah 156,27 MT. Sedangkan dump truck Hino FM 260JD selama 1 jam kerja dari pengukuran aktual di lapangan adalah 31,52 MT. Dalam kegiatan coal getting di PT. CBS menggunakan armada 1:3 dengan 1 excavator dan 3 dump truck. Berdasarkan pengukuran di lapangan cycle time alat gali muat adalah 19,11 detik dan cycle time alat angkut adalah 731,9 detik, sehingga diperoleh match factor sebesar 0,63 atau MF < 1 artinya excavator sedang menunggu dump truck.

Abstract

PT. Mineral Sukses Makmur is a company engaged in iron ore mining with an IUP area of 73.4 Ha. Overburden stripping production target of PT. Mineral Sukses Makmur in September 2022 amounted to 43,700 bcm while the realization was by using the Caterpillar 320D (01) Excavator and Caterpillar 320D Excavator (02) loading equipment of 28,024 bcm or 64% of the production target. Production of overburden stripping did not meet the target due to obstacles that caused high loss time on the digging equipment, according to field observation data. Additional productivity research on equipment working hours is needed so that the overburden stripping production target can function properly and maximize the effective working time of the loading and unloading equipment. One of the appropriate methods used to overcome this problem is the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method, which is a method for measuring the performance of machines or equipment used in industry by considering various production losses. After that, a Fishbone diagram is used to identify the underlying causes and effects behind the production failure of overburden stripping. From the simple linear analysis equation, a simulation can be carried out to obtain the maximum loss time limit of the working hour constraints of the loading and unloading equipment that are accurate to meet the target of overburden stripping production. Then, analysis and efforts to reduce loss time were made to achieve a total production of overburden stripping of 58,059.52 bcm/month. This means that the planned production target of 43,700 bcm/month was met and even exceeded, with the OEE value of each digger being 26%. and 22%. However, the OEE value is still relatively low compared to the standard world-class OEE value, which is 85%.

Abstract

PT Mandiangin Batubara targets overburden stripping production in June 2022 of 184,571 bcm in the highwall bottom area of pit A, while for the realization of the ability of the SANY SY500H Excavator, the resulting production is only 121,347 bcm / month. The non-achievement is also due to the low effective working time which is only 367.76 hours / month and 358.74 hours / month from the available time of 641 hours / month.Efforts that can be made to analyze based on the problem are in the form of analysis using the overall equipment effectiveness method and determining losses based on the six big losses of equipment. Then proceed with grouping the root cause of the problem of non-achievement of production, namely with the Fishbone diagram. From the results of the analysis based on the six big losses, it was obtained that the highest losses occurred in Equipment Failure Losses of 42.62% and 44.03% respectively. After repairing the loss time, the total production of Overburden stripping was 221,925 bcm which means that the results of these improvements can exceed the production target by increasing the OEE value of the digging and loading equipment by 48% and 54% respectively.

Abstract

IUP OP Jumaidi is one of the mining business licenses engaged in mining, especially mining and clay trading, which is located in Gunung Sarik Village, Kuranji District, Padang City, West Sumatra Province. Based on field observations at the IUP OP Jumaidi, the authors found that production data in December 2021 produced only 2689.57 tons, while the production target to be sent to PT Semen Padang was 5000 tons/month. The Jumaidi IUP is currently experiencing several obstacles not achieving its production target caused by several factors, including weather factors, social factors, dust, work efficiency, poor road access, and hauling time for transportation equipment. The effective working time is 160 hours/month. Meanwhile, the actual effective working time is 120 hours/month. To get optimal production results, the efficiency and capabilities of the tools used must be considered. IUP OP Jumaidi has 4 excavators and 16 trucks for Loading and Hauling activities. Based on the author's observations IUP OP Jumaidi uses 1 excavator (excavator) serving 6 trucks in 1 place, this results in not achieving the production targets set by the company, from the author's observations there are problems with the waiting time of the tool (delay) on loading 3-5 minutes which which is very different from the company's rule of 1-2 minutes. Furthermore, the problem encountered by the author is the production of the means of conveyance, which is equal to 2617.472 tons / month, the match factor is 0.043 and the actual effective working time of the digging and conveyance equipment is 70%, this is not in accordance with the company's provisions, which is equal to 80%. The actual productivity data the means of transportation is 5941,097 tons/month. The calculation of the effective working time the dumptruck is 46,75 hours. The match factor value obtained is 0.17.

Abstract

PT. Nusa Alam Lestari merupakan perusahaan pertambangan dalam negeri yang bergerak dibidang penambangan batu bara. tahun 2004 dengan eksplorasi lebih lanjut dari PT, Nusa Alam Lestari mulai menjelajahi wilayah Sapan Dalam. Bukit Asam Persero dan Surat Keputusan Walikota Sawahlunto Nomor: memperoleh hak pengusahaan Bukit Asam Persero pada tahun 2006. 05.03.PERINDAGKOP. tentang Pemberian Kuasa Pertambangan Eksploitasi, tanggal 27 Maret 2006 seluas kurang lebih 100 hektar (KW 1373 NAL 3602). Penulis menemukan lubang dengan ketinggian kurang lebih 30 meter dan kemiringan 78 derajat di permukaan lereng Bukit Tambun 01 di ruang yang diizinkan oleh PT Nusa Alam Lestari. Dikhawatirkan lereng tersebut akan menimbulkan longsor. Selain itu, kondisi lereng dapat membahayakan pekerja dan menghambat produksi. Batu pasir dengan bobot isi asli 23,23 KN/m3, Bobot isi kering 21,14 KN/m3, dan bobot isi jenuh 25,28 KN/m3 diidentifikasi berdasarkan data yang dikumpulkan dari pengujian sifat fisik dan mekanik. Pada lokasi penelitian di ujung lereng penambangan, uji rock point load index menghasilkan kuat tekan uniaksial sebesar 43,13 MPa dan kuat indeks sebesar 1,875 MPa. Analisis faktor keamanan FK) dan rekomendasi geometri lereng sebenarnya dibuat menggunakan metode Janbu Simplified, dan diperoleh FK sebesar 1,185 pada ketinggian 30 meter dan kemiringan 78. Hasil uji geser langsung tegangan puncak menghasilkan kohesi (c) sebesar 116,5 KPa dan sudut geser dalam 41,9872. Hasil tegangan sisa menghasilkan kohesi (c) 58,1 KPa dan sudut geser dalam 48,9934 Dengan tinggi 30 meter dan kemiringan 73 derajat, metode janbu sederhana menghasilkan geometri lereng yang direkomendasikan dengan FK 1,375

Abstract

PT. Hasaba Global Materindo (HGM) according to production mining business permit 544 -188- 2019 has a mining land concession of 17.7 hectares located in Polong Duo, Nagari Koto, Pangkalan Koto Baru District, Lima Puluh Kota District. Because there is a disposal area that is no longer used at PT. Hasaba Global Materindo, which causes dust in dry season and puddles in rainy season, requires an activity as an effort to preserve the environment so that further damage does not occur. And one way that can be done is to handle the disposal area. Handling the disposal area must also meet success in order to achieve maximum results. The unused landfill area has an area of 1.09 Ha which will be handled later. Handling of the disposal area starts with spreading top soil as a planting medium, spreading top soil with a thickness of 150 cm, with a required soil volume of 15,135.67m³ using 1 cat D-6R bulldozer, 1 paint excavator PC 320D, and 5 FUSO 220 PS dump trucks. After the land arrangement complete, the land will be carried out to hide the cover crop. Cover crop planting for an area of 10090.45 m² or 1.009045 Ha, will use Pueraria javanica seeds, totaling 4.36 Kg. Furthermore, the revegetation process which consists of procuring seeds with the number of oil palm seeds requiring 154 stems. At the planting stage, the spacing of the oil palms is 8.5 m x 8.5 m with the dimensions of the planting hole being 60 cm x 60 cm. As well as maintenance for 1 year after the seeds are planted which consists of weeding, fertilizing, and embroidery. Based on calculations in handling area disposal by revegetation, the total cost of handling area disposal is Rp. 222,927,900
